A ressource offered by Université de Montréal celebrating the 375th anniversary of Montreal.
Developed by researchers at the Université de Montréal (www.crc.umontreal.ca + www.leap-architecture.org) with support from the Bureau Recherche – Développement – Valorisation (www.recherche.umontreal.ca/brdv), Montreal-Archimap.ca provides direction to some of the best architectural projects designed—and most often built—in Montreal between 1992 and 2017. Celebrating in their own way Montreal’s 375th anniversary, these projects bear witness to excellence and creativity in architecture, city planning and landscape architecture. These interactive maps can be explored on the surface or in depth: since they are linked to the documentary database of the Canadian Competitions Catalogue (www.ccc.umontreal.ca) , they give access both to the “real” Montreal and to the imaginary city. Montreal-Archimap.ca allows users to browse and generate maps by city sector or by theme.
